Chess Villa is proud to offer historic- 1849 Jaques Pattern Staunton Chessmen. The Chessmen feature a 3.75″ King with a 1.8” Diameter base and are heavily weighted.

The beautiful chess set pieces with the meticulously handcrafted knights are carved with perfection and expert precision. It has been designed to withstand the rigours of practical play while maintaining an elegance. The Chess Pieces are hand carved by our skilled master craftsmen and crafted out of highest grade exotic woods. It offers the highest level of detail and would make a wonderful additional to any chess collection. The set is entirely handmade in India and weighted for prodigious hand-feel and a very nice thud on the wooden chess board.
