Beautiful set. Distressed look is perfectly executed. Pieces look better than the photos. Pre-sale communications was excellent. Prompt shipment. Arrived in California in about a week, no sales tax collected, no import taxes, tariffs or other issues. Each piece super well protected. Works really well with 2.25 inch squares.
The chess pieces I received are incredible looking and nicer than the pictures!
The overall piece quality is evident. I was impressed with the weighting and shaping and will be pleased to present the pieces.
high tax need to be added to the price. otherwise quite nice. some splinters at the crown of the queens needed to be cut of, but I love the design, the heavy feeling and the wood is awsome.
The chess set is carved beautiful and rich in detailed. A weigth difference of approx 18 % could be cleared out via the costumer service after a bit long arguing. I think we all do have our learning process to reach near perfection. But I can still recommend the set and the seller too.
Very good craftsmanship for a hand-made product. Arpit was very helpful and very responsive to messages. Arpit and team carefully wrapped and packed each piece, and then securely taped and labeled ("fragile") the box. I would purchase from Arpit and Chess Villa India again.
