Inspired by the iconic chess set used at the 1973 Philippines International Tournament, this historic design was personally selected by Bobby Fischer during his visit as the honored guest of Philippine President Ferdinand Marcos. The tournament was won by Grandmaster Bent Larsen, who finished with an outstanding score of 12.5 out of 15 games. This faithful reproduction pays tribute to one of the most memorable tournament chess sets in chess history, blending historical significance with timeless craftsmanship.

The beautiful chess set pieces with the meticulously handcrafted knights are carved with perfection and expert precision. It has been designed to withstand the rigours of practical play while maintaining an elegance. The Chess Pieces are hand carved by our skilled master craftsmen and crafted out of highest grade exotic woods.
