These chessmen are finely crafted by our craftsmen who have inherited this skill for so many years. From the perfect on the King to the minute details of the knight's mane, these Ebonised Boxwood and Boxwood pieces have green felt on the bottom. The timeless beauty and the utility of this tournament series pattern chessmen has made it the set of choice for players and a highly prized design for collectors.

The original Dubrovnik Set was made in the fifties in the renowned master carver Jakopović's workshop. These are the pieces that Bobby Fischer proclaimed his favourite, this is the chess set that we can see him analyze with in various documentaries and photographs. The beautiful chess set pieces are carved with perfection and expert precision. It has been designed to withstand the rigours of practical play while maintaining an elegance. The Chess Pieces are hand carved by our skilled master craftsmen and crafted out of highest grade exotic woods.
